About the Osteopaths:
John Sawrey-Cookson is the practice EC3 practice Principal. He graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, EC4, with B.Sc. in Osteopathic Medicine, Diploma in Naturopathy, B.Sc. Hons in Human Biology. John is registered with all health insurers including BUPA, WPA Norwich Union and PPP for insurance purposes.
Football
John is involved in the treatment of professional footballers at Carlisle United and Gretna. Since joining Carlisle United in 2004 the team have gained promotion to League Two from the national conference, then being promoted for second consecutive year as Champions of League Two to League One.
Gretna was equally successful, winning successive Championship titles from Scottish Division Three to the Scottish Premier League this season, Scottish FA Cup final and qualifying for the UEFA Cup all in three years.
Films and Theatre
John treats Actors and stuntmen on film sets such as Sunshine (2007) Directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) and The Prey (2007). John has treated Michael Flatley’s Lord of Dance performers during there tours of the UK.

John is affiliated to the Spitalfields E1 + EC3 Fitness First Health Club involved in treating Sports Injuries
Office/Banks
John is accustomed to treating patients who want an Osteopath in EC3, E1 and EC4 with clients from Royal Bank of Scotland, Societe General, JP Morgan Cazenove, Deutsche Bank, Allen & Overy, HSBC Insurance, and many others.
Cumbria
Prior to working as an Osteopath in EC3 London John worked in a Family practice in Carlisle and in a rural setting near Penrith (North Lake District).
